Providing debt relief and financing a sustainable recovery in Africa

The OECD Development Centre and the T20 Co-Chair International Affairs Institute (Istituto Affari Internazionali, IAI) are co-promoting the DEV Talk – T20 Associated Event “Providing debt relief and financing a sustainable recovery in Africa“.

The webinar, which will take place on April 9 at 2.00 – 4.00 pm CEST, aims to engage experts in a debate on how the G20 can support programmes that address African governments’ liquidity and financing needs. The meeting is part of a wider effort to incorporate voices and perspectives from developing countries into the discussions on the policy agenda of Italy’s G20 Presidency.

The following speakers have already confirmed their participation: Masood Ahmed (Center For Global Development), Stefano Manservisi (Lead Co-Chair of the T20 Task Force 5 “2030 Agenda and Development Cooperation”), Eric Meyer (Office of International Affairs at United States Department of Treasury), Rémy Rioux (Agence française de développement), Abebe Aemro Selassie (International Monetary Fund), Vera Songwe (UNECA), and Gelsomina Vigliotti (Italian Ministry of Finance).
